Terms of Service

The service

Alina Kzer Chat is a subscription-based application that lets you have one-on-one, AI-generated conversations in the persona of Alina Kzer. Replies are produced by an artificial-intelligence language model roleplaying the character, and are written by the model — not by the real Alina Kzer. Nothing in the service is professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions and billing

• Chat access requires an active subscription, billed at $9.99/month through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.
• You can cancel anytime using the "Manage subscription" link in the app, which opens the Stripe billing portal.
• Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; refunds are issued at our discretion.
• Taxes, where applicable, are added at checkout by Stripe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person.
• Attempt to obtain another user's conversations or account data.
• Engage in or promote illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the service in any way that violates these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Content and ownership

You own the messages you send. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your messages solely to generate replies and maintain your conversation history. AI-generated replies are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. The Alina Kzer name, brand, and all associated content remain the property of Alina Kzer and are not licensed for resale or redistribution.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service, or your access to it, if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — remain in effect.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. AI replies may be inaccurate or inappropriate; use your judgment and do not rely on them for decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alina Kzer Chat and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted here, with the date above reflecting the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
